Cloisters Kitchen & Garden is a place of pause within one of England ’s most historic settings. Rooted in the cloisters of Chichester Cathedral, it blends centuries of architectural calm with thoughtful, contemporary hospitality. This is not a café that competes with the city — it offers retreat from it. A space where heritage is respected, food is seasonal and honest, and time is allowed to slow. Set within the ancient cloisters of Chichester Cathedral, Cloisters Kitchen & Garden is shaped by its surroundings. Stone arches, filtered light and quiet gardens provide the backdrop for a café experience that is both premium and welcoming. Here, history is not curated for display, but lived in — felt in the rhythm of the space, the simplicity of the menu and the warmth of the welcome.

The Edgcumbe family has been roasting their award-winning EDGE coffee and blending tea since 1981. They only use speciality coffee beans (i.e. the top 5% of the world’s beans) that are ethically sourced and roasted fresh to order in their Dutch Barn located in Arundel.
